Greta Díaz González Vázquez is a Mexican multimedia journalist. She started her career as a photojournalist, but soon became fascinated by the empathetic power of video and the infinite posibilities of audio storytelling.
She worked in a public radio station in her home town, Metepec, where she was able to tell narrative stories through audio, video and photography. Since then she has worked in México and the U.S., freelancing for public and non-profit media. Her reporting is focused on gender violence in México and vulnerable populations.
Greta has received national and state awards in her home country. Her international work has been supported by the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting.
